We believe the best career education to offer is for you to actually go out and experience what jobs look like. So every year we specially build one week into the school calendar where you can go out and get some part-time jobs. For that, we have contacted a few options for you, all you need to do is to choose which one do you want to try this year. However, we do have different [[requirements]].

Grade 10 and 11 students are required to do real-life work practice during this time. And here are your options. Take a look at the job description and make a decision. [[Babysitter]] [[Delivery person]] [[Others]]

As a grade 12 student, [[if you have passed the English Proficiency test->passed]]. [[If you haven't got a good enough English Proficiency test for your university application->didn't pass]], then we have other arrangement for you.

Provides care to children inside and outside the home. Maintains daily schedule. Performs light housework. Leads children in fun activities. Keeps children’s living and play areas tidy. Helps with homework and tutoring as needed. Cares for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressing. Meets the physical, social, and emotional needs of children in their care. Provides structure and communicates consistent behavioral expectations. Encourages healthy habits and hygiene, and helps with toilet training. Sounds easy enough, [[let's do this->kids]]. Delivery a wide variety of items, including food, drinks, daily supplies, medicine and other stuff Following delivery driving routes and only do business in your assigned area Be polite when delivering Have your own delivery vehicle Your salary will be based on the number of deliveries you get done. However, salary will be deducted if you exceed the maximum deliver time allowance. That sounds easy, and I heard some people can get over $2,000 per month by doing this. Being the single child at home, you don't know much about babies. But you heard the baby you are going to work with is very cute. And you think to yourself "how hard can it be". You show up at the door. The family opens the door and the mom puts up a finger and tells you the baby is still sleeping so they figure you will be okay to stay here by yourself for while when they go out to do grocery shopping. After the family left, you walk into the baby's room. Aww, its sleeping face is so cute! You couldn't resist yourself and give it a kiss. "Waaaaaaah..." Ah oh, you wake it up. What should you do now? Okay, you come to the teenager's home for the first time. It's a fancy apartment with all kinds of fancy furniture and some really expensive looking decorations. The mom greets you briefly and gives you some introduction of her kid. "My boy is very bright and smart, but sometimes you just need to give him some time and patience. Martin has this weird smile on his face and asks "Will you help me with my homework?" "That's part of my job, so I will help you with whatever I can." Martin looks unhapppy immidiately,and looks like he almost want to cry. He started crying when running out of the apartment. You concern that something is going to happen to him and also because you are such a responsible person. You run after him to the street outside. [[All of a sudden]]

And then you just see your mom dance off the apartment and singing "I'm freeeeeeee..." You are thinking to call the baby's parents, but then you worry that they will think you are incapable. You look down at the baby's face. You search the house for diapers and worry why the hell would the baby parents didn't put them right next to the baby's bed. Okay, this is a challenge. You try to remember when you have seen on TV and put the baby on its back and slowly unfold its diaper. "Whoosh" you make a sound when you see the baby had pooped. And when you are still trying to figure out how to take the dirty diaper out. [[You heard]].

A very loud "Pufffffff" The baby farted. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" you scream and yell "What the hell?" Then the baby start laughing. "This is it! I'm leaving. You can stay here and keep laughing and play with your poop." You walk out of the house and slam the door. On the way out, you meet the family on their way home. The baby's father asks you "Hey, why are you leaving?" You make up a lie and say "Family emergency." The baby's grandmom offers you a chocolate flavor ice-cream. You take it and say goodbye to them like nothing happened. As you are walking home and [[licking the ice-cream]].

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" you scream and yell "What the hell?" Then the baby start laughing. "This is it! I'm leaving. You can stay here and keep laughing and play with your poop." On your way out, you see something laying on the floor and you think to yourself. "Hmm, this might be fun." You turn on the machine on the floor. Then you walk back to the baby and carry it outside and sit it on the floor. You take out the diaper with the baby poop and "Oops, sorry, I dropped it accidentially." You say to the baby and leave. Half an hour later... The baby's family is [[home]].

The ice-cream somehow tastes weird. And you take it away from your mouth and take another [[look at it]].

You are using a very ungraceful manner to yell at the restaurant staff about how useless they are because they can't send out an order on time and let everyone wait here. You are very mad because this is your first day working as a delivery courier and if you are not sending this order to your customer on time, you will potentially get a bad review from the customer. You deliver the food to your customer. It's 30 minutes late after you get to the address. You meet the customer and apologize about the whole situation again. Turn out you are sending the food to the owner of this delivery platform. She is a very nice lady and you have her fully understanding of the situation. Most importantly, your story has enlighten her and she decide to tip you 50 bucks for arriving with her food safely. The End [[Back->choices]]

The order you are picking up is placed on the 6th on the line, which means you still need to wait for at least 15 minutes to get your order. You are so pissed that you decide to steal a drink from the restaurant as you feel they let you wait for so long and you deserve this refreshment. You finally got your order after 15 minutes. You find out you are already over time. So, you get on your e-bike and drive 50km/hr. You run through every possible traffic light and try to get the food to the customer as soon as possible. And here comes the [[karma]].

So you decided to help the kitchen to boost the speed. You used your excellent and unbelievable cooking technic to finish the order in 3 minutes. All the kitchen staff in the restaurant were amazed by your wonderful skills. Suddenly, a big and tall guy walked out from the back and offer you a irresistible deal which you work for their restaurant for $400 a week. You decided to [[Take the deal]]and forget about school. You got hit by another delivery guy who was checking his phone when driving. Your leg got stucked under your e-bike and the other guy looked like he got some scratch on his arm. You looked up, and you [[realized]].
